Well… to sum it up, after 20 years of trying to fit my “round mind” into a “square cube” (existentially and spacially speaking) in the communications field, I concluded that I am genetically unsuitable for long term corporate employment. So I entered a self-imposed exile from the corporate kingdom. I became a corporate fugitive when I formed Make It Count Communications in 2007.
I started out like many do, dipping my toe in and wading slowly, before I decided that taking the plunge was inevitable and necessary. You can’t swim with one foot on the shore.
Since then, business and life has gone along swimmingly. So much so that I can’t imagine why I didn’t do this sooner. It’s not work if you love it! Jump in, the water’s fine!
